Taiwan Trip 2006

Originally we planned on going on a trip to Japan with my dad and his medical school classmates, but because of scheduling problems, we were unable to go to Japan. Instead, my dad chose to pay for us to take a trip to Taiwan for a week.

And We're Off...
Reluctantly, we left Loki and Thea in the hands of our good friend Carolynn. Our flight was scheduled for 1:30 AM Sunday morning. We promised our friends and family to take lots of pictures. We'll try our best.
Without fail, I was singled out for a thorough search. Happens every time. Not to my parents, not to my brother. I don't know what it is about me that makes me that much more of a suspected terrorist.
But even that didn't keep our spirits down, neither did the fact that it was almost midnight. Arriving at the airport early, we played some card games in the terminal. We basically lost Sunday to the flight and travelling across the date line. (We arrive in Taipei at 5:30 AM Monday morning.)
